A good rule of thumb: if you’d be ashamed to show it to your mother, father, grandparent, sibling, or significant other, it’s probably not the best idea to post it 😉

Reminds me of the Ogilvy quote that says something like “the customer is not an idiot, she is your wife..” The best writing tip I ever heard was a writing instructor that said to write as though we’re writing to someone we respect — you took the same advice and made it even more personal. : )
