    • I celebrate you on this momentous 5th anniversary milestone! Huge thanks for all the awesome expertise you share so selflessly. May all of your tomorrows continue to brim with the priceless trademark intellectual brilliance you radiate.

    • Copy That Over. HAPPY Birthday you little 5 year old.
Child Genius, I agree whole kindheartedly.
Love reading your blog, love learning from ‘Idiot Savant of Copy’ ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Your podcasts are the best part of your program because you can only write so much in every article and the podcasts allow you to dive into greater detail. What’s more, you don’t have the opportunity to sit for a half hour proof reading your audio like you do your posts, so we get to see the real you in action.

Thanks for helping us all out! My site went from 2,000 followers to 9,600 thanks to your work on how to get your feed seen better.

  1. Happy Birthday CB –

And the post that started it all was called “Sold”. In fact, it talks about how people go online for information seeking out solutions. And blogs are such a great way to build authority and trust so when you do “buy”, you don’t feel that certain discomfort that comes from being sold….

That post, 5 years later is still true and it’s not only true it’s been proven over and over. And as Zig Ziglar once said,

โ€œEvery sale has five basic obstacles: no need, no money, no hurry, no desire, no trust.โ€

Enough said. Copyblogger was born and what a great place to be then and in the foreseeable future.

  2. Happy Birthday CopyBlogger!

Where did you get that boy’s pic? ๐Ÿ˜†

CopyBlogger has significantly improved over time (especially after leaving Thesis ๐Ÿ˜ ). I wish to see how it looked like when it started its journey, though.

  3. Expect to see lots more independence, attitude, and requests for cash.

Well, that’s what happened when my Little Dude turned five, anyway. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. Ever thought about making a book/ebook out of some of the better posts?

Five years of this is a lot for someone to go through. A book would help new readers get more out of CB.

  5. Happy Birthday Copyblogger! ๐Ÿ™‚ You’ve given me some great posts that inspire me to become a better blogger. May this be the best year yet.

  6. Happy birthday! And many happy returns.
I have been an enthusiastic admirer for some time and thoroughly enjoy reading and re-reading your posts. Keep up the good work; I’ve been hooked.

  7. Happy Birthday! Here’s to many more … (As for scribbling on the wall with that Sharpie – you’re forgiven, but only because your scribblings are so insightful.)

  8. Congratulations for a very productive and successful year. Definitely, year 6 and the years ahead will always be a blast for the most awesome blog in the web world.

  9. Happy Birthday Kids….

If I had to choose only one site for advice and ideas about how to create and manage great websites and blogs from concept to content and beyond, Copyblogger would be it. Here’s to another 5, 10, 15, 20.

  26. Brian — Copyblogger has been my go to resource for most of the last 5 years. You (and the team) completely redefined the way I view writing/blogging online. Thank you for everything; I can’t wait to see what the next five years bring!

  27. In Quebec, we’d buy you large beers and make you chug it all in one swallow, then clap you on the back and huzzah while watching you try not to throw up.

Lacking beer, I’ll offer the back-clapping and cheers. A very happy birthday to you.

  28. Many Happy Returns!

Yep, it’s been quite a ride. Thanks for being a blog that makes a difference. (And I hope it’s not getting too hard to blow out all those candles. ๐Ÿ˜‰ )
