Some see content marketing as the latest online marketing trend. But if you’re a Copyblogger reader you know it goes much deeper, and longer term, than that.
Content is the smart, cost-effective way to market virtually any product or service. And real estate is no exception.
If you’re a real estate professional, then you want to generate more and better leads, and convert more of those leads into sales. And the best way to do that online is the strategic combination of content, social media, and search marketing.
You may not know that before I founded Copyblogger, I started a successful real estate brokerage — built entirely with online marketing. In fact, it’s the principles I refined in that business that led to the founding of Copyblogger. Because of that background, I’ve kept an eye on what works — and what doesn’t — in the world of real estate.
Smart content marketing strategies will grow any business. But real estate is well placed to benefit from a particular approach even more than most.
We already sell the most popular WordPress theme for real estate professionals — AgentPress. We’re now going to start offering more than design.
Today, we’re introducing the AgentPress Library, a series of free reports, seminars, and case studies to help real estate agents and brokers succeed — starting with the free report, “The Death of Traditional Real Estate Marketing (And the Rise of Your Real Estate Career).” And if you’re a content producer looking to work or partner with agents and brokers, you might want to check it out as well.

I manage over 50 PPC campaigns for Real Estate firms and I constantly hammer them on the importance of a well built site on content, speed, ease of use, and landing pages. Most only listen after they ask for better results and I show them examples of others that have listened. This should really help my cause!

Hey Nick,
I’m in the mortgage industry and work with a lot of real estate agents. I have resources and tools to help them build their business. I am interested to learn more of what you are doing. If you can send an emai, perhaps we can open some dialogue.
Thanks
Rick

This article just emphasize the popular saying, “Content Is The King”. It is almost impossible to succeed online without content. But if you are using content to promote your real estate business, that means you need to target your geographical location to get the most out of it.

A great strategy that never fails is to always be straight up with your customer! They love it.

I think it’s great that Brian and the crew have made this resource available.
My only concern is how people in the real estate business will receive this.
A large majority of Agents are prone to looking for the next big thing in real estate that will generate enormous leads, and rarer is the the agent who goes through enough iterations to make “the new shiny” work.
Here’s hoping my colleagues will embrace real estate marketing 2.0 … I did and haven’t paid to advertise a property listing since 2009.

I have been working in the Digital marketing industry for many years now. It si true that ‘Content is king’ but without a quality SEO and Social media campaign, intertwined with one another that reacts to ‘real time’ issues of a well researched demographic it is difficult to be successful. I have recently been helping brands crack the complex Chinese market, which although has endless opportunities has strict rules. This eBook is particularly helpful for anyone hoping to devise a strategic campaign

Bonjour Michel,
Wondering whether you have found anyone to help you with your site? Not a specialist in AgentPress but I work mainly with StudioPress & Elegant themes. I previously worked in real estate and now do websites, copywriting and digital marketing for agents. Oh, and I speak French 🙂 Cheers Catherine, info[at]greenwebmarketing.com.au
