Apparently because if I had waited until today to get started and make my purchase, the price for new customers dropped to 50% off instead of 25% off–per the marketing email Studio Press sent me today AFTER I bought the Pro Plus Pack yesterday.
Not the most crowd-pleasing marketing effort.
Nothing has changed … the two discounts are the same as they’ve been since Tuesday, and will remain that way until next Tuesday.
The only reason you got the email today is because you became a customer yesterday. Customers always get 25% off; so the additional 25% is the Black Friday portion.
In other words, you couldn’t get 50% off as a non-customer today if you had waited, because you wouldn’t have been entitled to the additional 25% existing customer discount. Hope that makes sense.
That said, as a new customer who bought during the promo, we shouldn’t have sent you that email. Apologies, I’ve chatted with the team to get that fixed for next time.

I am a proud affiliate and fan of Genesis theme and recommend it to my blog readers. Hope will generate more commissions in black Friday sale. Thanks for sharing the update.
