    1. It’s good if there are others doing the same thing as you. Stepping out of the box and becoming clearly different allows your brand to stand out. In the terms of vegan donut or cinnamon rolls, what are you doing different that sets you apart? THAT is how your value proposition can stand out, making you unique even when others say, “…But it’s the same product…” YOU become the reason they buy the thing they were going to buy in the first place!

      Sometimes it comes down to personality, too. That’s the difference between ‘same’ and ‘more valuable’. If someone likes your added cinnamon in a world of donuts, you’re good to go.
